I am forever thankful for discovering them due to fortune teller. It is by far the best Spanish food I have had in Austin and the staff are always extremely friendly, and there is plenty of seating open in the courtyard surrounding the location. I again can not stress how great the food is and for drinks, fortune teller right next door. Also love that their text system sends a song about the food you ordered when it is ready!

We visited from Chicago and did it best to eat our way through good ATX spots. While we had some ok experiences, Sabor Tapatio was easily the best food we had in Austin. Better even than Michelin Star places. Extremely friendly service. Incredible flavor in the al pastor, barbacoa and quesobirria. Very good heat in the red salsa. If we lived in Austin, this is the spot we’d take visitors to.

You can tell by the grill marks that they take their food seriously. The tortillas taste so fresh. And the bar/seating area in the same lot feels like “classic Austin”

The food truck has a friendly vibe, and the service is quick and welcoming. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you get.

Service was great. Really friendly and fast. They give you everything you need as far as condiments and utensils. Even a tray so you're not eating off your lap or a flimsy paper plate. Food was well cooked and prepared, but the birria was lacking in flavor, as was the consommé. Portions were great and it was a fair price. But was hoping for more flavor. I'd recommend them overall, but wasn't blown away by the quesabirria.

Elin is the owner and clearly passionate and knowledgeable of authentic Mexican food. His recipes are all his! Some of the best Birria tacos I’ve had in Austin! From service, food, to quality, these are the eating/dining experiences I appreciate. He treats you like family, and makes sure you are taken care of and open to any constructive feedback. Food was good tasteful. Service was quick and friendly. Cashier didn't give me correct change until I asked for it and had to calculate it my self to see if he had given me correct change. I was missing some $.$$. Kid was young so i disreguarded it as if it was nothing. I would come back.
